The Rooms
Your room has been created to combine traditional Balinese aesthetics with modern style and comfort. The materials are local stones, folk-weave fabrics, cane bamboo, and weathered wood. The atmosphere is spacious and generous, cool and inviting, informal and relaxing. The lightweight cotton robes and comfortable slippers are for you to wear wherever and whenever you are in the resort. The canopied bed allows a cool breeze to waft around you while deterring the occasional mosquito. The sunken baths with hot and cold water and their views into private courtyard gardens, enhance the feeling of freedom and naturalness.
Our stylish room has become a favorite amongst guests to photograph their in-room moments. The modern beige and white stripes beautifully compliment the traditional thatched roof and furnishings, creating a super photogenic “zen” space for your spiritual getaway.
Safety First
We highly advise you to review the following safety information that briefly instructs how to react in an emergency. We must expect the unexpected and be as prepared as possible though the chances of an accident, a fire, earthquake, or landslide are very minor. We arrange regular training for all our staff, in conjunction with the local fire department.
Foot Pathways
When the weather in Bali is sometimes unreliable, which means from wet to dry and wet again, the pathway gets very moldy sometimes. Please mind your steps whenever walking on the pathway, especially during the evening time. Bring the flashlight with you in the case when it’s too dark in the area.
Bathtub
Although each step of the bathtub is already set with a towel the marble floor might still be slippery when it’s wet. Be very careful when getting up from the bathtub right or before showering.
Swimming Pools
The two-tier infinity pool is situated at a high position and faces directly to the river with a depth range of 50-150 cm.
Do not injure yourself, pay attention. We have no life guard incharge. Have fun but don’t get too excited when chilling out by the edge of the pool.
Parents must supervise and take extra care of their children.
Flying Drone
For your own privacy and comfort, we are not allowing drones to be operated in all public areas including in the villa, unless for commercial purposes and get permission from the hotel’s management.
Thunderstorm and Lightning
There are some steps you should take to lower your chance of becoming a lightning strike statistic
including:
1. Do not stand underneath a natural lighting rod such as a tall, isolated tree.
2. Get inside the room or any building around the resort; try to avoid walking through the pathways around the rice fields area or any open space.
3. Avoid using electronic devices except for emergencies.
Fire
Fires can occur anywhere and at any time of the day or night.
1. Immediately notify the Operator, dial “0”.
2. Try to minimize the spread of fire by closing windows/doors if you feel comfortable.
3. To use the fire extinguisher to fight the fire if it is small, without taking the risk yourself.
4. Leave the area as fast as possible and go to the assembly points (see map).
5. Do not pack your luggage during the fire; your safety is the main priority.
6. If you are in the smoke, take a breath and slowly crawl on the floor towards the exit door – less smoke in the lower area.
When you are in the room and the fire is outside:
1. Stay in the room if the way out is blocked please wait for further instructions.
2. Try to secure important belongings such as passports, wallets, etc.
3. Turn off the air conditioner if necessary.
4. Place wet towels under the door, it can avoid the smoke from coming into your room.
5. Fill the rubbish bin with water and place it close to you in order to keep the towel wet.
Evacuation & Assembly Points
We have marked the evacuation areas at the resort which is at the open area Lobby. To ensure your personal safety, it is necessary to proceed immediately to your closest evacuation area.
Earthquakes
The number of earthquakes in Bali is relatively prolonged and even when it happens we might not feel them. However, when one occurs:
1. Stay calm and do not run
2. Ride out the shaking
3. Go to the assembly points.
4. Get out of the room quickly; unless the big one comes, follow the below procedure: 1). Drop 2). Cover 3). Hold on
If you are inside the buildings, it is important for you to stay away from any hot equipment, glass window & suspended equipment
If you are outside the building, it is important for you to stay away from electrical lines, building edges, and under the roof
If you are trapped under debris;
1. Do not light a match
2. Do not move about or kick up dust
3. Cover your mouth and nose with clothing or a handkerchief
4. Tap on something in order for the rescuer to locate you
5. Shout only as a last resort
