To give you a chance to immerse yourself and grasp more than just the superficial traits of the Balinese culture, we thought some other form of tips would come in handy. You will discover this unique culture and some of you may be entranced by it so much, that you will return, year after year, others will check their bucket list and move on to other new frontiers.Balinese language and literature; three languages are spoken on Bali; Balinese and its dialect, Indonesian and a kind of Old Javanese called Kawi. Standard Balinese uses different levels, each with its own set of parallel vocabulary, to indicate the caste or status of the speaker vis-a-vis the person spoken to. There are three main levels; alus (high),kasar (low) and mider (middle).

A way in which to become closer to the Balinese isto speak their native tongue. So let’s start with some basic Bahasa Bali. Your Guest Service Assistant will surely help you pronounce the words;
